Coach education with an emphasis on supporting female athletes

Marsa was engaging and informative when she spoke with our group. As a male, I appreciated how she created a safe space for dialogue on what can be an uncomfortable topic. The information was educational, valuable and she provided a clear call to action. You will walk away with practical applications and a greater understanding of how to best support women who are active. I would highly recommend this talk for coaches, parents and medical providers alike. If you work with female athletes this will benefit you.

About

“Marsa and Sam’s workshop was the best professional development I have ever participated in. Their knowledge of training athletes who menstruate is empowering and absolutely essential to my coaching and teaching practice. This training was the missing piece of the puzzle for me and has inspired me to make both small and big changes in my pedagogy that feel right and equitable. It is incredibly validating to have these experiences discussed in a way that frames them not as detrimental to performance but as a roadmap to success!”

Education and support for leaders in education

Marsa and Sara shared an absolutely spot-on, highly appreciated hour of engagement, insights, and evidence about current learning needs and learners in higher education. They nudged us thoughtfully to consider ways we might better meet students where they are at, flex a bit in our methods of instruction, and create an inclusive community in our classrooms where students feel a true sense of belonging and safety in learning.
